How do I watch Superettan on uPlay?
With uPlay you get access to Superettan — Sweden's second tier of football — directly in your IPTV app. No extra payment, no separate sports packages. Everything is included in your subscription.
Superettan is where tomorrow's Allsvenskan sides are made, and where former giants fight their way back. The promotion race is usually decided in the final rounds.
Where do I find Superettan?
Superettan is broadcast via the following categories in your IPTV app:

How to navigate there
- Open your IPTV app and go to Live TV
- Browse to the "SE – TV4 Play PPV" category
- Select the channel showing your match
Refresh your playlist before kick-off
Stream channels have no fixed EPG (TV guide) — match information appears directly in the channel name instead. Refresh your playlist shortly before kick-off to see which match is on which channel.
How the league works

Superettan is played by 16 teams that meet each other twice, home and away. The top two are promoted to Allsvenskan, while the third-placed team enters a play-off against an Allsvenskan side. At the other end of the table, relegation to Ettan awaits.
Because both promotion and relegation are often decided on the final day, those matches kick off simultaneously.
Picture quality
uPlay broadcasts Superettan in high quality. Selected matches may be shown in 4K — this is marked in the channel name when available.
For the best possible picture quality we recommend:
- A wired connection — connect your device directly to the router with a network cable
- At least 25 Mbit/s for Full HD and 50 Mbit/s for 4K
Frequently asked questions
Are all Superettan matches included?
Yes. Every round is included, along with the promotion and relegation play-offs.
The match isn't showing — what do I do?
Refresh your playlist in the app settings shortly before kick-off. Stream channels are often activated just before the match starts and won't appear in the list until they are live.
Can I watch match replays?
Usually not. Most Superettan matches are broadcast via stream channels without an EPG, which means catch-up is not available. The matches may appear in the VOD library afterwards — search for the team name or "Superettan" under movies and series.
What is the difference from Allsvenskan?
Allsvenskan is Sweden's top division, Superettan the second. Both are included in your uPlay subscription and are found in the same categories. See our guide to Allsvenskan for more information.
It buffers during the match — what do I do?
Try the following in order:
- Switch from WiFi to a wired connection
- Lower the resolution to 720p or 1080p in the app settings
- Connect via VPN if you suspect your internet provider is throttling traffic
- Contact our support if the problem persists
